People will willingly pay lots of money for a process that either speeds things up or slows things down. Although many people want things and processes that speed things up, just as many are fighting brain drain because of all the speed and want to slow things down. Change your process with your customers in mind, sell your unique advantage and experience to the customer and they will pay for the process.
I had asked the agency to work out an anthem for the company. The brief was that the song should sound young, vibrant and contemporary. A few weeks later the agency asked me to come to Mumbai to approve the tune. I met two brothers who were in their early twenties and had composed the song. I had never heard of them. But each of the three tunes they presented was outstanding. The agency and I finally selected one of the tunes, a duet with a male and female singer providing the vocals. An instrumental version was also produced that would be used as the call hold music on all Satyam’s telephone switchboard.

They have ancient technology in place at their locations, that i made an effort to see first hand, but as i said they have the components in place, they just need the direction to get it done. Maybe a change in management will give the company a different view and they can finally make headway both in earnings and in the stock price as the stock has been stuck in the high to low range for a year. So the moment you hear that Rite Aid is upgrading their systems and giving the company a better public image then you should be all in. I would be open to having Ms. Mary Sammons on “Wall Street to Main Street” in the future as i am sure that being the CEO of the company she can give us a really good view of Rite Aids direction.
